GET INVOLVED! Assume leadership roles in your schools and communities. Take part in clubs, athletics, and academic groups. Volunteer in community activities and become somebody in demand by others! Extracurricular involvement is a primary aspect of college admittance.

Take the PSAT and PACT! These are practice college entrance examinations offered in high school. The PSAT, when taken in October of the junior year, offers National Merit Scholarships to high scoring students. Be sure to take it!
